Learn with us during March 2018
At Cincinnati Museum Center, we know that open-ended, activity-based play is crucial to your child’s growth and development. That’s why we bring together the region's best childhood development experts every year for the Learning Through Play Conference. The American Alliance of Museums recognized the conference as a national model of community engagement with parents, families and educators alike.
This upcoming year, we will be holding multiple events in March so that both educators and parents can learn more about the importance of play.
March 10: Learning Through Play for Educators
Learning Through Play for Educators offers sessions for preschool and early elementary educators on how to incorporate play into your classrooms in topics such as art, science, music, literacy and working with children who have disabilities. Learning Through Play for Educators will be held at Northern Kentucky University.
We anticipate the conference will be a KY Approved Early Care and Education Training, and that some sessions will be OH Approved.
Check back in winter for the conference program and registration information.
Saturdays in March: Learning Through Play for Families
Every Saturday in March, we will host Learning Through Play for Families. Drop-in activities will be available for families to experience the joy and benefit of playing together in Duke Energy Children’s Museum on March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. Activities will be free for Museum Members or with admission to Duke Energy Children’s Museum.
Check back this winter for the activity guide for each Saturday.
