This October, Cincinnati Museum Center's Robert D. Lindner OMNIMAX Theater will open a groundbreaking new film, Grand Canyon Adventure: River At Risk. As new scientific studies forecast water shortages in the Western U.S. and around the world, Grand Canyon Adventure explores the issues, presents real solutions and delivers an uplifting message of hope for future generations.

The film, narrated by Robert Redford, is set in the Grand Canyon on the iconic Colorado River. Leading this important expedition are two important environmental heroes: world-renowned river advocate Robert Kennedy Jr. and celebrated author/anthropologist/explorer Wade Davis, each accompanied by their daughters-Kick Kennedy and Tara Davis-for whom this journey will become a rite of passage. They are guided by Shana Watahomigie, a Native American of the Havasupai tribe and the first member of her tribe to become a National Park Ranger and river guide. A stirring score featuring songs and music from the Grammy Award-winning Dave Matthews Band sets the mood for this adventure that explores the spiritual, artistic and life-sustaining powers of water.
