Grand Canyon Adventure: River At Risk

July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31

Grand Canyon Adventure takes audiences to the forefront for the fight to save one of the planet’s most valuable resources: water. With global freshwater sources depleting at faster rates than ever, the film not only sends viewers flying over canyon walls and plunging into tumultuous rapids, but also empowers them to take steps toward saving  the planet.

Narrated by Robert Redford, Grand Canyon Adventure follows two environmental activists, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and author/anthropologist/explorer Wade Davis and their families as they travel the Colorado River through the world’s largest canyon.

The film also features a moving soundtrack by The Dave Matthews Band, brought to life by the OMNIMAX Theater’s state-of-the-art sound system.
