The Manager of Media Relations reports to the Director of Public Relations and works closely with the marketing communications team, especially those responsible for electronic communications. The responsibilites include:
*Research of local and regional media outlets.
*Internal and external research to facilitate development of media pitches.
*Development and implementation of media pitches to secure earned media coverage of CMC exhibits, programs, and institutional messages.
*Strategic research and planning of media pitches to support integrated marketing and communication plans.
*Work closely with internal and external partners to facilitate marketing communications.
