Estate Gifts

An anonymous donor has included the Cincinnati Historical Society at Cincinnati Museum Center in his/her will for the bulk of the estate, which is valued at approximately $1,250,000!

When asked what the motivation was, the donor responded, “I am doing this because I feel I owe a lot to this organization. The staff was very kind to me and helpful; they didn’t kick out a young person when I was a poor nobody.

“I believe that the history of the city is important for the spirit and well-being of the community. And I want to motivate others to think about making similar commitments.”

Annual Fund

Show your support by making a gift to the Annual Fund!

Cincinnati Museum Center is a place that celebrates the things most precious to us. It honors the past, gives us perspective about our place in the world, and engages us with hopeful, refreshing ideas for the future.

Right now, Museum Center’s Annual Fund campaign is in full swing and we ask that you show your support by making a generous donation today. Donations comprise about one-third of Cincinnati Museum Center’s revenue, so we rely on every gift for the continued good health of our exhibits and programs.

Some of the wonderful things that your gift will help us continue to provide are:

  • Education programs that reach 140,000 children per year—programs that spark curiosity and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.

  • Free public access to the Cincinnati Historical Society’s collection of more than one million photographs and prints; over three million feet of broadcast recordings; 40,000 books; 50,000 pamphlets; 2,500 maps; and over 30,000 historical objects.

  • Films at the OMNIMAX Theater ranging from space stations to beaver dams, from the top of Mt. Everest to the bottom of the ocean.

  • One of the top 10 children’s museums in the country; it attracts over 400,000 visitors a year.

Cincinnati Museum Center is worthy of your support. Please make a gift to the Annual Fund today by clicking on the "Make An On-line Donation" link above. And thank you for your continued support.
