Cincinnati Museum Center and, the nation's largest general veterinary practice, have joined together to create an exhibit celebrating the health and wellness of our four-legged family members. Visit our kid-sized Banfield Pet Hospital in the Duke Energy Children's Museum and practice checking vital signs of stuffed animal pets, use veterinary tools to perform a wellness check, and view x-rays.
During our Pet Academy* program, bring your young animal lovers to meet Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians as they share tips on how to keep pets healthy and happy. You'll also receive a stethoscope (while supplies last) to try on your home pets, and get a chance to meet local therapy dogs from Therapy Pets of Greater Cincinnati to learn about the great work they do in our community!

Pet Academy programs are free for CMC Members or included with a Discovery Pass. The 2019 Pet Academy programs occur from 11 a.m. to noon

I love being a part of [this] program because it teaches children the concept of stewardship and responsibility for those animals who trust us with their care. We discuss the importance of preventative medical care not only or our pets but for ourselves as well. It is amazing to watch how excited the kids get when they see the animals and want to share their experiences! Being a part of this program is a gift that I hope to be a part of for a long time!- DR. ELIZABETH SANDFOSS, CHIEF OF STAFF, BANFIELD PET HOSPITAL #2344
